Thank you to all who participated in our Otisville Country Fair Fundraiser. Despite a rain out on Saturday, the Troop still did well. Many thanks to Mrs. Howe for organizing, Mrs. Niper and Mr. Grebeldinger for keeping us all well-nourished, Mr. Turken and Mr. Fedina for supervising, and Mr. Kendall for being a jack-of-all trades.
Some changes to our fall line up:
September 8: Payment due for Raft-O-Ree. Please contact Mr. Fedina or Mrs. Kendall to make payment arrangements. Scouts who are signed up but not paid by this date will be registered using their Scout account funds.
Thursday, September 13: Cyber Chip meeting; Raft-O-Ree preparation. Turn in all completed blue cards from Summer Camp.
Friday, September 14- Sunday, September 16: Raft-O-Ree. Scouts currently signed up should pay prior to September 8. Scouts signed up who do not pay prior to that date will be registered using their Scout account funds. Please contact Mr. Fedina or Mrs. Kendall to make payment arrangements. We still need additional adults who can go on the rafts with the scouts. Please check out RAFT-O-REE OVERVIEW for timeline, location, and packing information.
Thursday, September 20: Map and Compass skills. This will take place outside, location TBD.
Thursday, September 27: Knots & Lashings Review
OCTOBER: The theme for October will be Wilderness Survival. October Outing will be the DRD/HD Camporee on
October 5-7. Location and cost TBA.
Committee Meetings: Committee Meetings are generally the Mondays following Roundtable. 2018-19 Meetings Dates are: September 17; October 15; November 19; December 17; January 14; February 18; March 18; April 22; May 13; June TBD
Boards of Review: Are generally the fourth Thursday and must be requested at least one week in advance. 2018-19 Boards of Review Dates are: September 27; October 25; November 29; January 24; February 28; March 28; April 25; May 23.
