Parking and More

Parking and More

8/9-12: Be prepared for parking this week. As you know this is our biggest fundraiser so the more you work the more you earn. A schedule was emailed last week.  Please contact Mr. Fedina if you need another copy.  Please contact Ms. Howe (martyhowe46@yahoo.com) if you would like to add or change your hours.
Rank Advancement: Any First Class Scouts that want to rank up to Star Scout at the fall Court of Honor should work on earning their cyber chip.
National Outdoor Awards Programs: When a Scout excels in outdoor participation, there are awards to show for it! This program, conceived by the BSA’s National Camping Task Force, includes a series of six badges designed to recognize a Boy Scout who has exemplary knowledge and experience in performing high-level outdoor activities.  The six National Outdoor Awards badges recognize a Boy Scout  who demonstrates knowledge and experience in camping, aquatics, conservation, hiking, riding, or adventure. Youth earning the National Outdoor Awards badges have demonstrated that they are knowledgeable, safe, and comfortable in the outdoor activity covered by the badge.   These awards require earning popular merit badges that you may have already earned.  Check out BSA National Outdoor Awards Program for more information.  Scouts can track their progress on their ScoutBook account.   Fishing enthusiasts should check out the Complete Angler Recognition.
