One last plug – help make the Holidays a little brighter for a family in need. See our Adopt-A-Family 2017 post to learn more about the family we are adopting this year. Visit our Sign Up Genius to see what has been purchased and/or to sign up to donate an item. We are in the homestretch as all donations are due Thursday, December 7. Cash donations are welcome – Ms. Howe will go shopping to round out the wish lists with any cash donations. Gift card donations for the family are also greatly appreciated.
To shine some light on your own holiday season – check out these fantastic holiday lights displays around our area (please check the websites linked; some displays have limited hours or charge a small fee):
Right here in Middletown is Todd Lyons Paving (57 Ingrassia Road, Middletown, NY 10940) that has a stunning display that you can either drive up to or walk through (while the airplane is impressive, the trees are my personal favorite!).
Orange County Arboretum has a stunning “Lights in Bloom” walk-through display at 41 Grove Street, Montgomery, NY.
Watt Christmas Wonderland is back with their drive-through display at 310 Scotchtown Road, Goshen, NY.
If you are up for a bit of a drive Bruschi Christmas Lights (5 Madre DeCristo Road, Wallkill NY 12589) has a great display synced to music and ERDAJT (8 Patrick Drive, LaGrangeville, NY) is both a charity fundraiser and a Guiness Book of World Records holder for most lights.
