This week: 12/7/17

Troop Meeting: This week’s meeting will be the first in our Camping and Cooking themed meetings.  Scouts should bring their handbook, pen or pencil, and paper.Scoutbook: Please remember to update your Scoutbook account as you complete requirements.  It is not necessary to have the requirements signed off on in your handbook before you enter them into Scoutbook.    Scoutbook is not only a great planning tool for your Patrol Leaders’ Council but it is also now linked to BSA’s internet advancement system.  Scouts should be updating it regularly.  There are also great reports (Individual Advancement Record and Boy Scout History) that provide a great advancement progress overview for Scouts.
Adopt-A-Family:  All donations are due by December 7 (this week’s meeting).   In past years we have been able to go above and beyond and not just fulfill the wishlist, but add a few extras as well.  Please check out our Sign Up Genius and Adopt-A-Family 2017 post for more information.  If you would like to contribute but do not have time to make it to a store, you can make a cash donation and Ms. Howe will take care of the shopping.  As a reminder, here is a recap of the wishlist:
Arturo, is 20 months old and wears 2T, size 5 in shoes, and loves Tonka trucks or anything that makes noise.

Scoutmaster Conferences and Boards of Reviews:  This month’s Boards of Review will be held on Thursday, December 21.  Scoutmaster Conferences will be held upon request.  If you need to request either a Scoutmaster Conference or a Board of Review, Scouts should speak with either Mr. Fedina or Ms. Pallone.   Please remember only Scouts can request a Scoutmaster Conference or Board of Review, not parents/adults.
