This week the Troop will continue reciting the Outdoor Code as part of the opening and closing ceremony. Scouts should be working on learning the Outdoor Code and can find it in the Handbook. Also, Scouts will be finishing up their Emergency Preparedness Merit Badges. Scouts who still have work that they were supposed to do at home and turn in can turn in that work this week. Scouts should also bring money and permission slips for the March 9-11 camp out at D&H Campground.
For any Scouts looking to rank up this month, this week is the last week for Scoutmaster Conferences. Next week will be the Board of Review for February. Scouts seeking a Board of Review should contact Ms. Pallone directly. Mr. Fedina can provide Scouts with her contact information if needed.
The next committee meeting will be on Monday, February 19 at 6:30 pm at Alan Turken’s office.
The first Delaware River District Merit Badge College will be on March 24 at Minisink Valley High School. Registration is now open on council’s website.
Scouts needing to complete aquatics rank advancement requirements should listen carefully to announcements at the end of this week’s meeting for a new date.
